David was a Magistrate. In 1830 they migrated to New York State, settling in Madison County near Shelburne. In 1837 he and his wife and sons Philo and David and their wives, and one year old Duane, son of Philo, moved to Erie County New York, settling on land which is now the location of Agola, N.Y. David is buried in Evans Center M. E. Cemetary in Angola, N.Y..
